I agree with the spoiler warning thing. And the dungeon is just all-out fun, too. Go do it! It Blackfathom kicked our asses last night. Had a blast, but we just could not pull individuals.
We kept getting gangs of bad guys. I know we were right at the end, too. You saying it actually went beyond that? Or just that you got your asses kicked but eventually came back and perservered through to the point that you got to TTCBN? Out of curiosity, what types of groups are people using for these things? We did Blackfathom yesterday with a 26 to start priest, a 26 to start rogue, and myself, a 24 to start druid.
I get the feeling other folks are doing this with larger groups at lower levels? Was much fun figuring out how to handle some of those hairy fights with only 3 of us. The TTCBN was underneath the area we were trying to get to, which appeared to be the continuation of the instance.
I arrived there with a group ranging from level 23 to The important part is the classes you choose. I simply refuse to cheat and being powerlevelled through an instance.
We tried to fight our way in to the temple, but there were too many tightly packed mobs. I swam around trying to see if there was an alternate way in and came across the cave with the Thing in it.

The entrance is visable on your main map as well. It's north-east-ish and within yards or so. Go straight in, follow the tunnel around for a bit, and the named mob is standing on the island in front of you in the cave. Comment by treerex This lists as ending at Seer Karmo but it doesn't for me: after killing Maziel I got the quest completion right there in the cave, where I was able to select the reward.
He has a oozz next to him and ya have to fight both at same time ,,, to close to pull either without the other I killed both of them and decided to kill two other Oozzes before I went and looted Maziel Oops ,,, he had already respawned ,,, no problem for me ,, with my level 84 Warlock and Pet,,, I killed him again Not long after I had looted both of the Maziel corpses he respawned again Not much of a Drop and not worth killing him again Comment by Just to make things a tad easier, i chose to kill the two mobs on the island with him..
Comment by 85 shadow priest, I just pulled him with vamp touch and the ooze totally ignored it. Maybe I got lucky and hit him at the max range of the oozes pathing, but I didn't try to. Comment by Engelrift It's worth noting that while this quest requires level 81 to complete, to start the quest chain Twilight Research you need to be level A S Warchief's Command: Deepholm!
